Eben’s Story: A Young boy, His First Bible and His Hope for the Future
—In the small community of Sempe, Ghana, lives a bright-eyed 10-year-old boy named Eben. Growing up in a humble household, Eben had always heard about the Bible in Sunday school. Every Sunday, he would sit attentively as his teacher shared stories of David, Moses, and Jesus. These stories fascinated him, but there was one thing missing—his own Bible.

For Eben, this wasn’t just a book. It was a doorway to a new world, a world where he could explore God’s promises and stories anytime he wanted.

“From this day forward, the Bible will be my most treasured possession. I will carry it to church and read it at home.”
Eben’s excitement is contagious. He has already chosen his favorite verse: Jeremiah 29:11— *“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you...

Now, imagine thousands of children like Eben, eager to know God, but without a Bible of their own. You can change that.
