Breaking Barriers Beyond Borders
Imagine how difficult it would be to access a Bible if you lived in a Christian minority country.
In Scotland, Bibles and Christian resources are easy to find. Across Central Asia, many Christians do not have that same access.
Your kindness can help bring God’s Word to people eager to grow in faith and share its hope with others.

Will you help Christians in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan discover the hope and truth found in God’s Word?
Across Central Asia, Christians are a small minority and can face pressure for their faith. Vast distances, language barriers, limited resources and restrictions can all stand between people and God’s Word. Yet despite these barriers, there is a deep and growing hunger for the Bible.
Kazakhstan: Breaking the Barrier of Identity.
99% of young Christians in Kazakhstan can read and would treasure God’s Word if given a Bible. Yet many still lack access to Scripture in the languages and formats that help them engage with it and discover their identity in Christ. Your gift can help place God’s Word into their hands and nurture a lifelong faith.
Kyrgyzstan: Breaking the Barrier of Distance
A Bible can cost up to 33% of a month’s wages in Kyrgyzstan, putting God’s Word out of reach for many families.
As Christians make up just 3% of the population, many parents struggle to provide their children with a Bible of their own. Your gift can help a new generation grow in faith, stay rooted in God’s Word, and carry that faith with them into the future.
Uzbekistan: Breaking the Digital Barrier
Less than 2% of Uzbekistan’s population is Christian, and many believers have limited opportunities to access faith-building resources. Young Christians in Uzbekistan are searching online for answers, hope and truth. Your gift can help bring God’s Word within reach and nurture faith in the next generation.
Local Bible Societies are overcoming barriers and creating opportunities for lives to be transformed through access to God’s Word.
In Kazakhstan, many young people are searching for identity, purpose and meaning. Through Who Am I?, a new Bible resource, teenagers can discover who they are in Christ. Young people like Aliya show why resources like this matter. As a teenager, she began searching for God, but opportunities to explore the Christian faith were limited. Your gift can help more young people find answers, hope and a lasting identity in God’s Word.
In Kyrgyzstan, many children grow up apart from their parents and long for identity and purpose. Through Manga Messiah, a visual retelling of the Gospel, the Bible Society is helping young people discover God’s Word. As one child put it, “Finally, the church is speaking our language.“
Meanwhile across Uzbekistan, many young people are searching online for answers about faith, but trusted Christian content is scarce. The Bible Society is creating digital resources in local languages to help more people encounter Jesus through God’s Word.
Your gift can help overcome barriers, share Scripture, and bring the hope of Jesus to more people across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Will you help change lives through God’s Word today?
