Will you help bring healing where it is needed most today?
Can you imagine carrying deep emotional wounds every day, with no safe place to speak, and no clear path to healing?
Right now, many people in Scotland are living with the lasting effects of trauma caused by loss, abuse, hardship and conflict.
They need God’s light to break through and restore what has been wounded. Will you help?

Help bring hope through Bible-based Trauma Healing, in Scotland and beyond.
Your generosity brings Seeds of Healing to people carrying deep pain. Through God’s Word, trained facilitators walk alongside individuals as they process pain, rediscover their voice, and encounter the gentle, restoring love of God that brings healing to wounded hearts.
70% of us are estimated to experience trauma at some point in our lives. These unseen wounds affect every part of life, often leading to isolation and a loss of hope. That is why this Bible focused programme is so important.
465 people have been trained by the Scottish Bible Society to facilitate healing groups. This training is equipping local leaders to restore hope and create lasting change in communities across Scotland and around the world.
With your support, our trained facilitators have reached over 1,140 participants in Scotland. Together, we are planting seeds of healing in the hardest places. These seeds are taking root, growing strong, and bringing hope where it is needed most.
What is trauma?
“Trauma is a deep wound of the heart and mind that takes a long time to heal. It hurts every part of us-how we relate to others, how our body feels, what we think about, as well as our ability to trust God. It can leave us feeling separated from God and others.”
The Trauma Healing Institute, Scottish Bible Society partner
Today, Bible Societies around the world are delivering Bible-based trauma healing programmes, with lives once overshadowed by trauma being renewed.
In Ukraine, trauma healing camps are places of safety, joy, and healing among children and mothers affected by war. A Restoration Centre in Kyiv is already becoming fertile ground for healing, serving families of military personnel, children, and adults.
Here in Scotland, our ministry is already making a difference. Interactive training courses are held regularly throughout the year both online and in person, providing Bible-based materials and hands-on experience to prepare facilitators with the skills, confidence and encouragement they need to help support others in the process of healing. We are delighted that our training sessions now include people from across the UK and around the world. It is a joy to learn together and carry seeds of healing into many communities.
