Give Bibles for Revival in Cuba

God Is Moving In Cuba - You Can Bring Hope And Joy By Meeting The Growing Need For Bibles

For decades access to the Bible has been restricted in Cuba. Trade limitations and religious repression made owning a Bible nearly impossible. While some policies have loosened, many restrictions remain, Bibles are still hard to find and expensive to purchase.

Right now, a spiritual revival is sweeping the island, hearts are opening, and lives are being transformed.
Amid critical economic uncertainty and poverty, people are finding real joy and hope in Jesus.

But, There aren’t enough Bibles to meet the demand.

Congregations are still sharing scraps of Scripture, handwritten verses passed from believer to believer and this must change.

Currently Bibles cannot be printed in Cuba and can only be imported via the Bible Society in Cuba, which is why your support is crucial.

Closer to God

Ariel is 19 years old. He grew up in a home where occult practices were part of daily life until a friend told him about God.

‘I got myself an old, old Bible. I read the Bible and walked around by myself. No one came to explain or teach me. It was only me, the Holy Spirit and God’s Word. I remember being deeply shaken because I felt that God’s Word spoke directly to me. It was God speaking to my heart. It was my first experience of closeness with him.’

A Cry for Hope

Luz is a devoted leader in the Cuban church. She was delighted to receive a shipment of Bibles for her congregation as she has seen the power of God change lives when the Bible is shared:

“Children in our church come from difficult backgrounds. But when they hear the Bible stories, they are changed.”

The need is vast — and urgent. Families, children, and entire congregations are waiting. For them, God’s Word is a light in the darkness and a source of hope and healing.

Imagine playing your part in their transformation by ensuring that every one of them has access to the Scriptures.

Every Bible sent to Cuba carries the hope of a new beginning. For many, this is the first Bible they have ever held in their hands — a long-awaited treasure.

As Alain Montano, the General Secretary of the Bible Society in Cuba, shares:

“In Cuba, people ask for the Bible even in the streets and restaurants. They are longing for something that will bring hope into their lives.”

Life-Changing Impact

The situation in Cuba is dire. Inflation, emigration, and poverty are tearing apart families. But in the midst of these struggles, the Church is growing, and people are searching for meaning. They are turning to the Church for hope, but the Church needs Bibles — and they need them now. The Bible is already making a difference. Families across Cuba are receiving vital packages that include Bibles for adults, children, and even large print editions for the elderly. Yet, the need is still far greater than the supply.

Each Bible is a beacon of light to a family in crisis. Can You Help?
