Danila was unable to read the Bible.
Blinded because of a complication when she was born, Danila has depended upon her parents to read to her. Braille books have proven hard to access in Sri Lanka, and Braille Bibles have been especially hard to find. Our colleagues at the Ceylon Bible Society saw her need and gifted her with her own Braille Bible.
“It felt like a gift from heaven” said Danila, smiling.
They’re working hard to provide Bibles that are accessible more visually impaired people like Danila.
