Anyone who saw 'dweeb' take a leading role in the BBC 3 Documentary Singing With The Enemy will know them as a collective of undeniable unity and faith. Put them up on stage with the lights and crowd and no matter how bright the lights or how big the crowd, 'dweeb' will serve up one of the most electrifying live shows around. There's nobody from the UK scene who can quite match them for energy, for antics or for left-field hooks.
But all this hasn't come from thin air. 'dweeb' have grafted the old school way: constant touring has been their way of life since they began in 2003. Now an established favourite of anyone in the UK who knows what an actual 'dweeb' is - as well as festival goers all over Europe - the band have amassed a loyal following. And as their sound has grown from its early punk-feist into something that blends the raw with the melodic, 'dweeb' are now ready to throw themselves out there and see what the wider public makes of it all.
