Rhema Church is a large multicultural church in Croydon with a congregation of over 2,000 where the word of God is preached, and powerful worship experienced.
In 1991 Pastor Martin and Sandy Phelps started Rhema Church in obedience to God's call on their lives. They were missionaries from South Africa who came with a passion for the United Kingdom.
Renowned for their powerful preaching, social significant youth group, and Worship team - RCL Praise - every week Rhema's ministries cater for all different people and needs, whether on a Sunday service or at one of their various weekly events.
About the band
RCL Praise is the resident worship band of Rhema Church London.
Formed in 1991, the group has grown and developed into a dynamic and anointed worship team. RCL Praise is known for lively contemporary music reflecting a multicultural congregation.
Many of the songs sung at Rhema Church London have been written by the band members themselves, songs birthed from the hearts of people who have committed themselves to a lifestyle of worship and dedication to God.
Praise and worship plays a vital role in our services, RCL praise is not about performance or hype, our aim and purpose is to worship Jesus and to allow him to affect and change people, as they experience his presence.
