EMI Gospel recording artist Darwin Hobbs has released his highly anticipated fourth solo album.
Worshipper is an amazing musical excursion that is sure to bring joy to anyone's journey that dares to listen.
Simply entitled, Worshipper, the new project is Hobbs' first praise and worship album, and the mere style and freshness of it, forces the listener to reckon with the fact that Hobbs is much more than the 'Luther Vandross of Gospel.' Hobbs shows the varied colours of his vocal instrument. Mostly all the lead and background vocals were produced by Hobbs himself. 'I always wanted to be more involved on the production side of things, and this time around I did just that' says Hobbs, of his high level of creative input on Worshipper 'I also wanted to record with a live band, so this time we gathered in Nashville with players like Jeremy Haynes on drums, Buddy Strong on B-3 organ, Javier Solis on percussions, 'The Natural' on guitar, and Daryl Freeman on bass.' 'These guys along with Aaron Lindsey on keys, live horns and strings, made every vision of a live record come to fruition', says Hobbs. According to the Atlanta, Georgia resident, Hobbs likes to think of Worshipper, as 'the record he was born to make.'
