Switchfoot's lead singer, Jon Foreman, demonstrates his mellower side and his gift for songwriting with a set of indie folk songs that thematically explores experiencing God in the hard times.
However, Jon returns to his indie-scene roots by releasing four solo EPs prior to the next Switchfoot release.
These EPs, titled Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer, each containing 6 tracks, feature some of Jon's most personal songs to date with innovative arrangements and inspired and intimate production. Highlights from the 12 song set include the downbeat The Cure For Pain and Southbound Train on the Fall EP. Winter is equally bitter sweet with delicate mellow songs which convey loss and struggle but have a thread of hope running through them so songs like White As Snow and I Am Still Running feel more like psalms.
This two disc collection features both the Fall And Winter Eps in their entirety. The Spring EP and Summer EP will be released in a separate two disc collection later in 2008.
