Once again Ishmael has scoured the land for undiscovered songwriters and once again has found a collection of brilliant songs, including bouncing praise numbers and slower, tuneful contemplative worship, too. They are given the inimitable Ishmael production treatment, complete with a choir of children (and one or two young soloists, too).
Ishmael writes, 'Many people write praise songs for children, but they are rarely heard beyond the local church. What a shame! So we decided to produce this series of Children's Ministry albums containing brand new, catchy, simple songs written by comparatively unknown writers.
The variety in musical styles and lyrics should suit most ages of children. We hope you will enjoy singing along to the songs, and that it will also be a resource to your local church's children's work.
I have selected these songs because they are easy to play and sing. I have deliberately not included any instrumental breaks so there should be no problem for those who prefer to sing along with the backing tracks supplied. To make it a complete package, the top line piano and guitar chords are included on CD Rom.'
