Bibleworld Mobile

'Wow! The Tardis!' - that's the most common comment as schoolchildren climb aboard Bibleworld Mobile ... our classroom bringing the Bible to life in the heart of communities across Scotland.

Up to 36 children come aboard and take part in the making of the film ‘The Lost Word', exploring an impressive array of computer screens, MP3 players, objects hidden in cubby holes, and more, much more.

Engaging with the Bible during this 70-minute programme, the children's curiosity is raised as they discover information that both surprises and intrigues them! In groups of up to six, and with a workbook to guide and record, they each have 20 minutes at three of the six 'film sets', including the Spaceship and the Library. They take away their workbook along with a special Bibleworld Mobile edition of Wild Luke. Teachers are offered a follow-up pack.

Designed to complement the Scottish Religious & Moral Education guidelines, Bibleworld Mobile is a treasure of a resource. With its cross-curricular programme and commitment to the Curriculum for Excellence now being pioneered in our schools, it can be confidently offered to Primary and Secondary classes as an educational resource.
