Bibles and Bandages for Brazil
OBJECTIVE: providing a multifunctional bus adapted to meet poor people's primary care needs.

Travelling around the vast hinterland 'Sertão' region with the multipurpose vehicle, staff and volunteers from the Bible Society of Brazil will reach out from their base in Recife with Bibles and resource materials, alongside medical professionals, who will be providing basic medical and dental services as well as giving talks on health education and the use of medicines.
Rev Dr Rudi Zimmer, Executive Director of the Bible Society of Brazil explained that "due to the size of this area, it is vital that we continue creating partnerships with medical services, local government and other local organisations. We're grateful to have SBS helping with this holistic programme."

I am so pleased to see all that about my country Brazil...wich I miss so much...thank you very much to all of you from Scotland. I will be part of this team now... I am arranging a perfume party with my friends to help to rise some money as well. Thank you again.

Smashing result!
Great news from Kilsyth Action Group – they organized a special event for Brazil – i.e. dedicated offerings at local churches on one Sunday in February. They wrote letters to all the churches of all denominations encouraging them to take part – 11 churches did. Guess what? – they raised £2,275.00!!! Obviously they are very pleased and I am too!! Hope you agree.
