The number of Christians is growing steadily, and few new believers have much background knowledge.

It is vital for them to have their own copies of God's Word so that they can grow in faith.

Churches have been appealing to the Bible Society to provide a range of items from complete Bibles to modest Scripture items for those with limited literacy, at low prices.

In 2008, it is hoped to supply many people. Plans are drawn up and production estimates agreed.
