With your help the local Bible Society plans to tackle this logistical problem by supplying motorcycles and bicycles so that distributors can use the overgrown routes to get through to small towns and villages with God's Word.

This will improve Bible availability countrywide. For many that have lost homes and loved ones, or have been wounded or abused during years of unrest, this is really Good News!

As elsewhere in Africa HIV/AIDS is ripping families apart. Scripture-based materials developed by the United Bible Societies are now being used to comfort victims, educate carers and warn teenagers and adults of the awful consequences.

With one million Congolese already infected, the programme urgently needs to expand.
