This work is vital! Especially for thousands of poor Christians who long to have a Bible but cannot afford to buy one ... and this is where your partnership with the Scottish Bible Society helps make that all-important difference in people’s lives!
Here’s a story from Egypt: “Dear Lord ... I’m not going to read the Bible any more ...” a lady prayed, then explained to the local Bible Society that she had been trying to read the Bible but couldn’t understand it and finally became discouraged.
Later, her son received a children’s Bible through a school project. It was written in such a simple style that the lady was able to read to her boy. How loved she felt to know that God cared enough to send her a Bible she could understand! She now says, “This Bible was meant not only for my son, but for me as well!”
