"When people hear the words of Jesus in their own language, they will say, ‘Jesus knows our language, he knows all about us, he is our person'," declared a guest at the launch of the Kobon New Testament. The Bible Society is supporting 13 other translation projects, some of which are in very remote areas where direct contact and assistance are difficult. (PNG has more than 800 languages!)

Pray for safe travel, effective training and regular communication with translation groups.
